Cavallino is a symbol, witness, and protagonist of Ferrari’s history: guardian of its bond with the local territory, of the relationships and friendships built over time, of the celebrations and the boldest challenges undertaken by the Scuderia since the very beginning. It all began when Enzo Ferrari acquired, along with the land destined for the factory, a small farmhouse—initially converted into the company canteen and then, in 1950, officially inaugurated as the Cavallino restaurant.
Since 2021, the collaboration with Massimo Bottura has continued to enhance the identity of Il Cavallino, bringing new light to its historic location on Via Abetone Inferiore. Under the leadership of chefs Riccardo Forapani and Virginia Cattaneo, the restaurant was awarded a MICHELIN Star in November 2025, a prestigious recognition celebrating the excellence of its hospitality and the quality of its gastronomic offering.
